- Veterinary Certification: The puppy has undergone a comprehensive nose-to-tail veterinary examination and is accompanied by current core vaccination and deworming records.
- 1-Year Genetic & Congenital Guarantee: The puppy is guaranteed against severe life-threatening congenital defects (including heart, liver, and renal dysfunctions) for one (1) year from the date of birth. Claims must be supported by formal documentation from two licensed, independent veterinarians.
- Spinal & IVDD Soundness Protection: Parent stock is rigorously screened for structural soundness to minimize hereditary risks of Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). The Breeder guarantees that the puppy shows zero clinical signs of spinal weakness, paralysis, or skeletal deformity at the time of delivery.
- Identification: The puppy is permanently identified with a secure microchip registered to the Adopter upon final execution of this agreement.
5. Adopter Responsibilities & Dachshund Care Standards
The Adopter agrees to maintain proper standards of animal welfare throughout the puppy’s life. Specific to the Dachshund breed, the Adopter commits to protecting spinal health by providing non-slip indoor ramps, maintaining a strict weight management diet to prevent back strain, using a harness instead of neck collars, and scheduling regular veterinary wellness checks.
6. Governing Law & Execution
This Agreement shall be construed, interpreted, and governed in accordance with the laws applicable to consumer pet transactions. Execution of this contract constitutes formal acknowledgment and agreement to all terms herein.
